Simple mouth replacements
Here's a bunch of the replacements we used for the 3-musketeers commercial. They are made out of wax then painted with acrylics to match the characters. We could get quite a bit of dialogue from just this set of mouths.
That Poster Is Sweet, I Would Love To Have One On My Wall. What Type Of Wax Are Those Replacement Mouths Made Out Of? Are The Mouths Pictured The Same Ones Used For All Three Puppets Or Is That Just For One Puppet? They All Look Awesome. The Mouths In The Poster Don't Seem To Be In The Pic, So Where Those Mouths Sculpted Just For The Poster? Heh-Heh Sorry For All The Questions Tony - M Flem Jr
Yeah that's a cool image too bad it's not a poster. It's only an 8X10. The mouths shown are from Athos (the little guy) although we did cross some of them over. I guess there's a few missing because we didn't use special ones for the print ad.
Nice mouth replacements. There's so much expression in just the mouths without the rest of the face. It reminds me a lot of the clay on glass tecnique....minus the glass.

Hey Tony,

Marc
Hi Marc,
Some people feel that most of the expression is in the eyes but the mouths are often so much more expressive.
Speacially on clay where you get to 'cartoon' and exagrate them a lot!
keep it up!
