"Damar varnish"

This is an oil study of my favorite little bottle of oil painting medium. The yellow light really shoots through it and I finally got a chance to paint it.

Noid mold

This is how I used to make Noid molds if I wanted to cast them in foam latex. It's an ultra cal (plaster) mold that has been painted on the inside before the foam was injected into it. This Noid and mold is long gone because it was done in the mid 80's and I don't know what ever became of it.

Christmas Raisins

Thought I'd post a few images of the "Claymation Christmas Celebration" since Christmas is coming up. This is my desk where I got to design and build Raisins as well as the sleigh proir to animating scenes from this classic TV special.

Fun with Claymation

Here's a scene from a tea commercial. There were some great opportunities to shoot exaggerated "in-betweens" on this one. The cat jumps up onto the chair so I elongated all the shapes to give it a fluid look. This is the second frame of the jump and the third and fourth frames were really elongated. Leave a comment if you'd like me to keep posting this kind of stuff or suggest any other material that you'd like to see.
