Celebrity eggs

Another campaign from the mid 80's. It was a commercial for the egg commission that I was happy to be a part of. We featured different celebrity personalities as eggs. There was some serious facial anatomy involved in these sculpts despite the simplicity of the designs. It was really cool to work with artists back then that had experience and training in facial expression and character likeness.

I think I remember some of these use to sit on a counter in one of the upstairs bathrooms at the studio. Near Will's office?

Michael, I have the spot on tape but not on youtube so I don't know how I'd show it to you. The egg to the left is the only one that's not a celebrity he's just the main egg in the commercial.

Kevin, Yes that's right this display sat in the men's bathroom for years next to Will's office. Many people had a good view of this egg display while using the restroom!

Man that is so cool! I would have loved to have been able to just walk around the old Vinton studios. You guy's were very Blessed to be able to do clay animation for a living!

Well a week or two ago I posted my first video on youtube & metacafe' of a Bronco montage that I had on VHS ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czYF_BTJfQA )all I did was set up my DV camera on a tripod & tape the whole thing. I did have to adjust some of the manual settings to get it to stop flickering but I think it turned out nice. Would you be able to do something like that? Thanks Tony! - Mike
